Mental health has become a rising issue over the past recent years. 1 in 6 US children ages 2-8 have a diagnosed mental, behavioral, or developmental disorder. Research shows that this can lead to lowered academic performance, increased possibility of dropping out, and more school absences. Since schools don’t take action in every instance of mental health crisis in their students, other solutions need to be sought out. How do we introduce mental health into family vocabularies? Chatterbox will be the first extensive therapist-supported Netflix interactive series aimed to educate people of all ages on their feelings.
